Modern Way Impact’s Community Development Program supports long-term projects that improve quality of life, expand local opportunity, and strengthen the resources available to underserved neighborhoods.
Strong communities are built through more than emergency assistance. They require safe gathering spaces, educational resources, youth programs, access to nutritious food, technology, clean environments, and local institutions capable of responding to community needs.
Our program works with residents and qualified partners to support practical projects that reflect local priorities and create lasting public benefit.

Areas of Support
Projects may include community learning centers, libraries, computer laboratories, youth facilities, community kitchens, food pantries, gardens, playground improvements, sanitation initiatives, accessibility upgrades, neighborhood cleanups, skills-training spaces, and renovations to qualified nonprofit or public facilities.
The program may also support equipment, furnishings, educational materials, technology, and essential improvements needed to make community-serving spaces safer and more effective.

Who We Serve
The program focuses on neighborhoods experiencing persistent poverty, limited public resources, educational disadvantage, food insecurity, infrastructure challenges, or insufficient access to community services.
Modern Way Impact places particular emphasis on underserved Black communities, Muslim communities, refugee communities, and areas where children and families face significant barriers.

Community-Led Development
We believe development should be shaped with communities, not imposed upon them. Before supporting a project, we seek to understand who will benefit, how the facility or service will be managed, whether it can be sustained, and whether the project reflects genuine community priorities.
Funds and assets must be used for charitable public purposes and protected from improper private benefit.
Long-Term Impact
A well-designed community project can serve thousands of people over many years. It can provide children with a safe place to learn, families with access to food, young people with constructive opportunities, and residents with stronger connections.
